National Health Centers Week with NorthShore

Throughout the week of July 31 until August 30, the community will have an opportunity to check out a variety of health resources and participate in a plethora of fun activities along the way.

The week kicks off on July 31 at the Gary South Shore RailCats game for a health and resource fair. From August 3-7, backpacks will be available to kids who need one for the upcoming school year. Blood pressure screenings and more valuable health resources will be present. The locations for the rest of the week include:

• August 3: Chesterton and Portage
• August 4: Merrillville and Lake Station
• August 5: Demotte and Crown Point
• August 6: Gary and Hammond
• August 7: La Porte
