“So I’m a setter. I’m an all-around setter so what I do is I always have the second ball to set up for the hitters so they can get their kills. I also play defense too and I’m basically the quarterback of the team. There are times where I’m like, “Oh shoot! I have to get it! SO sometimes if it’s too far away, I will call for help and my libero CC will always come and help me. But other times, I feel pretty confident and can spot where the ball is, to be able to get it to the players. Kaya’s Mom (The best food and grub bringer) brings food for us during practices, and she always makes sure we’re fed well. I just feel as a team, we’re all joking around. When we have cheers in the middle, we’re always playing and doing fun stuff. It just lightens up the mood and it’s always fun to have.” -Rachel Jones (Michigan City-Setter)
