Oak Partners tees up for 22nd annual golf outing with clients and friends

On Thursday, September 3, Innsbrook Country Club in Merrillville welcomed staff members, clients, partners, and friends of Oak Partners as the company kicked off its annual golf outing. The event offers an opportunity for people to celebrate together on the days leading up to Labor Day weekend.
Wealth Advisor and Partner Clint Henry kicked off the outing with a couple words for the golfers before they hit the green, along with his appreciation for everyone who showed up this year.
“It’s our 22nd year of doing this,” Henry said. “Today is about having a great time together and staying hydrated.”
This year, Oak Partners hosted over 250 clients. The tee time was at 8 a.m., with breakfast and lunch provided to each of the golfers.
“With this being the 22nd Annual Oak Partners golf outing we have outgrown one event. Now, we have two outings,” said Crystal DeHaven, director of client experience at Oak Partners. “We have 144 on the first day at Innsbrook, and close to 120 on the second day at Youche Country Club.”
With more than two decades of golf hosted by Oak Partners, the annual outing has only continued to grow each year. As a result, this allows golfers a chance to connect with new faces in a unique setting.
“The golf outing is a great place for networking, camaraderie, and building friendships,” said Kyle Cusson, client of Oak Partners. “From the standpoint of Oak Partners itself, we’re able to strengthen that relationship as well. There is a lot of dedication to what they do, along with the trust for all the people who support this event.”
Jack Keithley has been coming to the Oak Partners golf outing for several years. He considers it to be one of the best events that the company puts on throughout the year.
“I’ve been attending this for about 10 years. It’s a great experience meeting other clients, having fun, bringing guests, and working with a great organization,” Keithley said.
The annual golf outing marks not only a final summertime celebration with the Oak Partners family, but also the kickoff to fall events.
“We have some great fall events queued up. Oaktoberfest is right around the corner, where we are expecting around 550 people at Bulldog Park. This year we are hosting Yacht Party Rock (the band),” DeHaven said. “We also have an economic update in a few weeks, along with an economist coming out in November which we’re very excited about.”
As Oak Partners delivered one of its biggest golf outings to date, the momentum of this annual tradition is expected to carry into a successful fall season and start to 2027.
“We’re looking forward to continued success within the organization,” Keithley said. “Oak Partners does a very good job. They’re a great group to work with, and they are all about taking care of the clients.”
