Crown Point Athletics Offering New Discount for Families

Crown Point Athletics is offering a new discount for families with multiple children enrolled in winter programming. 

Beginning this season, families with two or more children in Learn to Skate or Developmental Hockey qualify for the discounted rate. 

For Developmental Hockey, two or more players from the same family would pay $450, and three players would pay $475. Learn to Skaters from the same family would pay $200 for two skaters and $225 for three skaters. 

Registration for programming, including ice skating lessons, adult and youth hockey, is open now at crownpoint.info/leagueapps. 

Learn to Skate (Ages 3 and Older) 

Learn the basics of ice skating, including balance, skating forward and backward, stopping and more! Class is held once a week for five weeks beginning Tuesday, Dec. 2. Ice skates are provided. Helmets are recommended. 

There are four age levels, including Tots (ages 3-5); Beginners 1 (Ages 6-18); Beginners 2 (Ages 6-18) (instructor approval required); and Adults (18 and older). Register online only at crownpoint.info/leagueapps. 

Learn to Skate classes will not be held during the holiday season from Dec. 22, 2025, to Jan. 5, 2026.

Developmental Hockey (Ages 5-18) 

Children ages 5-18 will learn the fundamentals of hockey in the Crown Point Athletics skill development and instruction program. There will be 20-plus practice sessions and games. 

Practice sessions are held on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Monday, Dec. 1. Games will be held on Saturdays beginning in January 2026 through Feb. 28, 2026. Register online only at crownpoint.info/leagueapps. 

Youth Hockey practice will not be held during the holiday season from Dec. 22, 2025, to Jan. 5, 2026.

Adult Hockey (Ages 18+) 

Players must be registered with USA Hockey prior to playing. Each player must be 18 or older. Register as an individual or as a team. A team consists of 15 players (maximum). Goalies play for free. This is a no-check hockey league. There will be eight games, plus a season-ending tournament. The league will begin Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025. Register online at
