Oak Partners Shares Market Information at Economic Update 2026

On the evening of Tuesday, September 22, Oak Partners invited clients to their Economic Update, where guests were treated to drinks and dinner at The Lighthouse Restaurant in Cedar Lake.

With more than 200 clients in attendance, Oak Partners utilizes the economic update to hit hard on trends in the market that can help members of the community be financially prepared. This effort aligns with the company’s guiding philosophy to not just manage wealth, but to help others make thoughtful decisions about their financial future.

Partner and Wealth Advisor Clint Henry spoke about how important it truly is to help keep clients in the loop.

“We’re trying to share what our strategy is in this market environment moving forward, what has happened, and what our plan is, so that clients are updated,” Henry said. “It’s nice to have everybody here in one room, so everybody can hear a clear, concise message from us.”

Since 1993, Oak Partners has assisted clients all across the Region, with financial advisors in cities such as Valparaiso, St. John, and Crown Point. Crystal DeHaven, client experience director at Oak Partners, values the networking opportunities that their team has throughout the year to celebrate one another and learn simultaneously.  Events are a critical part of client outreach and building many loyal relationships.

“We do a number of recreational events, as well as a lot of educational events like this market update. We recently had our Oaktoberfest celebration as well,” DeHaven said. “Communication, education, and service are the three things we pride ourselves on in everything we do.”

Despite being a more formal event, an essential part of these updates are providing a casual atmosphere that makes clients feel comfortable and relaxed.

“The environment is huge. It shows how close we are with our clients, and we have a good time. You’ll see a lot of laughter when you’re here. It’s not stale or boring economics. It’s going to be fun,” Henry said.

Clients and partners alike chat over dinner and take advantage of the friendly environment. Among the conversations that night was on artificial intelligence (A.I.), and how it and newly developing data centers will affect the market.

While the topics discussed might seem complicated to some, the goal of the night is always to explain things in a way that everyone can understand.

“We always want clients to not worry, always having it in their mind that we’re there for them. Although the market may be uncertain sometimes, we’re always one phone call away. Through our constant research and work that we do every day, they can feel secure in knowing that we’re taking care of them,” said Wealth Advisor Isabella Kowalczyk.

Nights like this show the Oak Partners team’s dedication and highlight their mission of trust and camaraderie with clients.

“Everybody here works extremely hard, and we are willing to go the extra mile. We also truly love spending time with our clients,” said Bridget Shoemaker, partner and wealth advisor at Oak Partners.
