Hilltop was established in 1995 to meet the needs of the College Hill neighborhood’s diverse community. It began with a simple goal, to provide safe, high-quality care for local children.
In 2011, Hilltop became a nationally accredited early childhood education center and registered ministry of the State of Indiana. Its commitment to excellence is recognized by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA), which reflects the highest standards in safety, curriculum, and teacher qualifications. Hilltop has also earned a Level 4 rating, the highest designation, in Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration Paths to QUALITY™ program, affirming its professionalism and dedication to quality care.
Over the years, the demand for more services has grown. Located in Porter County’s only federally designated Opportunity Zone—or economically distressed community—Hilltop now works to remove barriers to food, education, and essential services.
