South Suburban College to Host Vet Connect Resource Fair Offering Free Services and Support for Veterans

South Suburban College (SSC) invites veterans, their families, and community members to attend the SSC Vet Connect Resource Fair on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from noon to 2:00pm at the College’s Main Campus, 15800 S. State St., South Holland, Illinois.

Designed to connect veterans with valuable resources, services, and community support, the fair will bring together organizations and service providers to help veterans navigate benefits, explore career and educational opportunities, and access essential services.

Attendees can take advantage of a wide range of resources from over 30+ vendors, including disability claims assistance and on-site processing, employment and education opportunities, financial guidance, transition support, transportation assistance, health care resources, and specialized services for women veterans.

As an added benefit, SSC’s Barber College will offer free haircuts, and the College’s Cosmetology College will provide free manicures to veterans attending the event.

Whether you are transitioning to civilian life, seeking assistance with veterans’ benefits, exploring new career opportunities, or looking to connect with organizations dedicated to serving those who served, the SSC Vet Connect Resource Fair is an opportunity to discover support available to you.

If you are a veteran or know a veteran who could benefit from these services, please help spread the word! Join SSC in connecting those who served our country with the resources, opportunities, and support they deserve.
