La Porte Educational Development Foundation to Host Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

The La Porte Educational Development Foundation is hosting the inaugural Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving Day! The race begins at the La Porte YMCA. Registration is at 7:15 am, with the race starting at 8:00 am. The course is a flat and shaded street course.

On the day of the race, the registration fee is $25 for runners, $20 for children, and $20 for walkers. Participants can save $5 by signing up early at Active.com.

All proceeds from the race will benefit the La Porte Educational Development Foundation.
