Children and their families are invited to join in the fun at the free Lake County Safe Kids Day on Saturday, March 21 at the Dean & Barbara White Southlake YMCA.
The interactive event will include a variety of activities along with educational booths with information about keeping kids safe, healthy and happy from local first responders to nonprofit organizations.
Families will learn more about bike and helmet safety, child passenger safety, fire safety, water safety, medication safety and more. Free kids eye exams presented by the Crown Point Lions Club will also be available.
Kids can visit with Bluey, presented by TAG Art Company and have fun with balloon twisting and airbrush tattoos from BeeGiggles.
Free bike helmets will be available for kids while supplies last and snacks and water will be provided for all attendees. Attendees will also receive an entry gift while supplies last and can enter to win door prizes. Winners will be announced the following week and need not be present to win.
