Ensign Ignites Westville: Senior Climbs All-Time List

On a cool Tuesday evening in PCC Round Robin action against Kouts. Personal bests continued to build for the Blackhawks.
At the center of it all was senior leader Jacub Ensign, who delivered a statement performance. Ensign exploded to a personal-best 12.10 to win the 100 meters, then turned around and made noise in the field with a 107-6 personal best in discus, placing second and moving up to 5th on Westville’s all-time list.
The distance duo of Sebastian Smolnicky and Jayden Couture continues to trend upward. Smolnicky place second in the 3200 meters with a personal-best 12:12.24, while Couture followed closely with a personal-best 12:42.24 for third. Couture also contributed in the long jump with a season-best 14-4.5, adding versatility to his growing resume.
Junior Connor Keen placing fourth in the 100 meters (13.15), third in the 200 meters (29.10), and earning a personal-best 1:02.6 in the 400 meters.
In the throws, James Lacny recorded a personal-best 43-10 in discus, highlighting continued development within the group.
