New customer-focused store showcases Xfinity’s and Comcast Business’ innovative technology, provides convenient location for residents to receive personalized service

Comcast today announced the opening of a new Xfinity store, located at 116 US Hwy 41 in the Town Square Shopping Center in Schererville, Indiana.  The company marked the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 15, joined by local officials and the Schererville Chamber of Commerce.

“We’re excited to bring a new Xfinity store to Schererville as part of our ongoing commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience across Northwest Indiana,” said Chris Smith, Comcast’s Regional Senior Vice President. “Our stores are designed to provide personalized service, hands-on support, and access to the latest innovations in connectivity and entertainment.”

“Congratulations to Comcast on the opening of its new Xfinity store in Schererville,” said Robin Arvanitis, Schererville Chamber of Commerce President and Town Councilwoman. “We are thrilled to welcome this new addition to our town’s retail mix in such a convenient location for residents.”

New Store Part of Comcast’s Continued Investment in Northern Indiana

Comcast has served Northwest Indiana for years. Comcast has more than 10,000 miles of fiber-rich network infrastructure in Northern Indiana and offers gigabit+ Internet speeds to residential and business customers across its footprint. In addition, the company has more than 150,000 WiFi hotspots in Northern Indiana and more than 23 million nationwide.   

With the addition of the Schererville location, Comcast now operates six retail locations in Northern Indiana, including stores in Elkhart, Granger, Hammond, Merrillville and Valparaiso.
