Pandemic pickleball? We’ve heard it all now

When the local YMCA closed its doors and courts temporarily during the COVID-19 pandemic, Earl Cunningham of Michigan City, Indiana, was determined to keep pickleball alive for his friends. Welcome to Corona Court, a homemade pickleball court at Cunningham’s home, made almost to regulation size, so he and his friends could gather (socially distanced, of course) and play several times a week. Meet Earl and some of his teammates, and hear how he’s helped spur a pickleball revival in Michigan City overall.
