“The past few years, It’s been a struggle. In three years of our high school career, we only had two wins. Now we have two wins in our first two games and we really wanted to win. It’s my senior year and I really want to go all out!” Keilaeyah Roundtree (LaPorte)
“My game plan was just to shoot a lot because I’m always shooting. I just wanted to have good communication with my team and just be able to go on the court, have fun, play good, and just forget about the past and just bring in our future. We’re doing way better than we did last year!” -Alexis Surowiec (LaPorte)
“The game plan is just play as a team and I feel like tonight, we played as a team. Everybody on the bench were all hyped. There was a big crows and we have a little girls basketball camp that’s been going on. Many of those girls came out tonight to watch us play. I feel like the the plan was to just execute and put on for the community and give them a win. Just be hyped up, be a great team, show the little girls who we are, and just show the community that we’re changing. The past is in the past. Let it be in the past and just look at the future because the future is always brighter.” -Raeondryia Dawsey (LaPorte)
