It was homecoming night at Fairfield High School with the visiting Angola Hornets meeting on the gridiron. Falcon senior Warren Kaufman opened up scoring for Fairfield with a gutsy run in the first quarter. Angola entered the human video game cheat code for senior Hawk Hasselman, who played running back, defensive back, as well as placekicker/kickoff duties. He followed up with a touchdown and one more before half, with a score of 15-8. Hassleman started the second half with a long touchdown run. Angola blocked a punt, and Hassleman ran it in for his fourth touchdown of the night. Hornet senior Tyler Ruple grabbed an interception and ran it back for a pick 6. Final score 35-8. Both teams end the evening with 3-3 records. Angola plays Andrean next week, and Fairfield travels to Garrett.
