“We knew that going in, we just had to play hard, don’t worry about the call, stay 0-0, and just battle our way to the win. With all those and figuring out a way to win in March, I mean it’s just an awesome feeling…” “Obviously, this has never happened in school history before (3x consecutive IHSAA sectional champions), even this year, Crown Point’s never won an outright DAC so just completing those things is just awesome to do especially knowing we first came in, it was a very scrappy program. We definitely turned it arounf and we’re a powerhouse now and I don’t think it’s going to stop.”…”Our team, we live by 0-0 and I’ve taken that in. Being 0-0, LC would hit a big shot and just staying right here, staying 0-0. I had that dunk and we live by 0-0 because you never know what’s going to happen and keeping that mindset there is always key.” -Mason Darrell (Crown Point)
