The National Mascot Hall of Fame (MHOF) is located at 1851 Front Street in Whiting, Indiana. The 25,000 square foot, multi-million dollar facility is a state-of-the-art, interactive, family fun zone, with a wide range of exhibits, activities and events that celebrate mascot fun. Original and memorable mascot interactions and performances entertain, teach and enthuse children and their families year-round.
MHOF guests have the opportunity to experience mascot-themed exhibits on two fun-filled floors of museum departments such as, the "Department of Furry Arts", the "Science of Silliness Lab", and the "Phuzzical Education Department". In addition, the MHOF hosts annual induction ceremonies as well as many other mascot programs and events that honor the Mascot Hall of Famers.
More than just a giant fun factory, the MHOF has many interactive, educational displays and activities that incorporate S.T.E.A.M. education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) to compliment state and local curriculums. There are nearly 1.7 million students, within a 100-mile radius of the MHOF, whom could be positively impacted to engage in healthy-active lifestyles. The MHOF is the perfect destination for school field trips and youth organizations.
The MHOF is located at the very east end of Whiting’s beautiful 119th Street Downtown Business District and serves as the corridor to Lake Michigan and Whiting Lakefront Park. The exterior of the building features a huge rendition of Reggy, the official mascot of the MHOF. Once inside, visitors can use their imagination to design and physically build a mascot, audition as a mascot, and perform exciting mascot stunts including firing t-shirt and confetti cannons. The MHOF will surely provide a unique opportunity for an affordable, shared, family experience. To learn more about the MHOF visit www.mascothalloffame.com.
