American Legion Post 20 and the City of Crown Point are joining forces to host the annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday, May 25.
The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m., May 25, with staging at the Cal Ripken Little League parking lot along Joliet Street. The parade will travel through Joliet Street, go into Main Street, south to Wells Street, and end at the Historic Maplewood Cemetery.
There will be a brief ceremony in recognition of those who sacrificed for our freedom at the Historic Maplewood Cemetery shortly after the parade.
All are welcome in the community to come remember these heroes.
