Join Associated Pediatricians and Kidworks, LLC for a free, fun, interactive class designed for toddlers ages 18–24 months and the caregivers who love watching them learn and grow. The event will be on Tuesday, November 10, running from 6-7 p.m.
This class will be led by Lisa Rowe, M.S., CCC-SLP, speech-language pathologist with Kidworks, LLC. As your toddler begins eating more solid foods, learning new words, and becoming more independent, you may have lots of questions. Rowe will share helpful tips and guidance on feeding and language development.
Topics will include:
- Establishing a healthy feeding schedule
- Helping toddlers who struggle with transitioning to solid foods
- How many words your toddler should be saying
- Encouraging imitation of gestures and words
- The importance of reading and talking to your toddler
- There will also be time for questions and discussion with Ms. Lisa!
Parents and caregivers are asked to bring a small blanket. Class size is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
Free classes are offered monthly, covering different developmental stages and age groups. You can register online at https://www.kidworksllc.com/free-monthly-classes/. For additional questions, call Dana Gibson at Associated Pediatricians at (219) 462-0555.
