Things are starting to move at Festival Park, and if you’re a regular walker or visitor, you’re going to notice some changes as construction gets underway.
Possible fencing will be going up around the construction areas, and you’ll start seeing construction equipment and crews throughout the park. You may also notice some changes to the existing landscaping as the project gets underway.
We know Festival Park is a favorite spot for so many people, especially those who walk the park regularly, so we wanted to give you a heads-up that things may look a little different for a while.
But take a look at where we’re headed. The rendering on the flyer gives you a glimpse of what’s to come, including more than 100 new trees that will be planted throughout the park as part of the finished project.
We’ll also be sharing alternative parks and walking paths for those who use Festival Park as part of their regular routine.
There’s a lot happening, and we’re excited to watch Festival Park take shape!
