Valpo Parks Doubles Down on Golf with Major ImprovementsAcross Both Courses

Valpo Parks is proud to
announce a wave of significant upgrades and investments across its golf facilities at
Creekside Golf Course & Training Center and Forest Park Golf Course, reinforcing its
commitment to providing an exceptional experience for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
Over the course of this year and into the next, the department is implementing several
enhancements aimed at both staff efficiency and customer satisfaction:

• New operating system implemented in late 2024, streamlining operations and
  improving the customer experience from check-in to course play.
• New cart paths at both Creekside and Forest Park, elevating both the aesthetic and
  playability of each course.
• Forest Park’s new irrigation system will replace a 35-year-old system—an essential
  infrastructure investment set for Spring 2026.
• Two state-of-the-art simulators will be installed this fall at Creekside, expanding year-
  round play and training options.
• New Club Car fleet is set to arrive at Forest Park, offering smoother rides and improved
  reliability.
• New benches and ball washers will be added at Forest Park to improve convenience and
  course feel.
• The Bender Golf Teehouse is nearing completion, featuring 12 covered bays equipped
  with heaters and fans—making year-round practice in Northwest Indiana a reality.
