Valpo Art Walk Welcomes New Collection

The Art Walk at Cumberland Crossing is about to host a fresh collection of outdoor sculptures as 20 new works by 14 local, regional and nationally recognized artists will be installed in the coming days. “From larger-than-life poppies and soaring musical forms to imaginative wildlife and bold contemporary designs, this new collection showcases a wide variety of artistic styles and perspectives,” said Maggie Clifton, Valpo’s Community Engagement Director and administrator of the exhibit. “The Art Walk along Cumberland Crossing promotes curiosity and creativity as it adds interest for walkers, bikers and drivers along this important pathway.”

Entering its 15th year, the Valpo Art Walk is made possible by the Valparaiso Redevelopment Commission and Urschel Development Corporation. The new exhibit will be on display from June 2026 through May 2027.

New this year, visitors can use the free Otocast app to discover the Art Walk and hear directly from participating artists about the inspiration and creative process behind their featured works. The City of Valparaiso is also hosting a Community Choice Award through the platform. Explore the exhibit and vote for your favorite sculpture by October 1, 2026. The Otocast app is available for free through the app store or online at https://app.otocast.com/guide/Valparaiso_Sculpture

Works featured in the exhibit are selected annually by the City’s volunteer Art Advisory Committee. All sculptures are available for purchase. To learn more about pricing and availability, please contact artists directly.
