Valparaiso High School Boys Tennis Team Continues Winning Ways Against Crown Point

The Valparaiso High School boys tennis team advanced their record to 9-1 on the season (6-0 DAC) with a 4-1 win over their Duneland Athletic Conference opponents in the Crown Point Bulldogs.

The Vikings’ singles players won handily with Ben Kalisch (6-1, 6-0), Marty Pochop (6-0, 6-0) and Eric Cender (6-4, 6-4) each picking up wins for Valpo.

The VHS doubles teams split their wins, with the team of Jared Folke and Peter Williams picking up a win (6-2, 6-4) and the duo of Domi Szabo and Noah Klumpie fell (1-6, 4-6).

The JV team also won 8-5.
