Mishawaka High School’s Theatre is set to transport audiences to a world of dreams and wonder with an upcoming production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s enchanting musical, “Cinderella.” Performances will occur at 7 p.m. on March 14-15, and a matinee at 2 p.m. on March 16.

“I would say my favorite thing about the experience has been bonding with all of the cast members and crew,” said Junior Anna Yoder, who plays Gabrielle. “I love this talented cast and I am so grateful to be a part of it.”

With the vast array of free educational programs, engaging activities, and numerous services offered under its roof, the St. Joe County Public Library (SJCPL) Main Library serves as a hub for not only residents of South Bend, but for residents of Michiana as a whole. In 2021, the Main Library underwent a multimillion dollar renovation, which saw the addition of several new fixtures to the building. Among these were the Second Floor Gallery and the smARTbox, an interactive art space. Running Wild 2025 Brings Record Turnout, Community Spirit, and Support for St. Joseph County Parks

On Saturday, August 16, people of all ages gathered at St. Patrick’s County Park in South Bend for Running Wild 2025. The mix of a chip-timed 5K and a family-friendly 3K scavenger hunt walk has made the event a summer tradition.

“This was our highest attended event with 533 participants registered,” said Deputy Director of St. Joseph County Parks, Leslie Witkowski. “Our second highest was 504, and that was pre-COVID. It’s nice to see those numbers go up, and everyone having a good time.”

On the weekend of October 10, Goodwill brought tricks, treats, and triassic treasures to the Indiana Dinosaur Museum during Goodwill Days at Harvest Fest. Goodwill supported the event with plenty of fun activities, including a Halloween pop up shop, DIY scarecrow kits, and photo opportunities with the Scare-a-Crow-SAURUS.
