Tomorrow, Back and Beyond: A Special Exhibition by SSAA Members and Guest Artists

The Southern Shore Art Association will present an Exhibition about futurism, retro-futurism, science fiction, robotics and surrealism, challenging artists to explore a new concept, think beyond the box, back into the past, into the future or maybe way beyond this world. The Exhibit will open with a free hospitality reception on Friday the 3rd of May, from 5-8pm at the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery, 724 Franklin, Michigan City. Exhibit will run from May 3 – June 2. Gallery open hours Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays 12-5pm.

Also on display: “Fire Hawk” one of the prize-winning robots from The Michigan City Robotics 3936 Club and Robotics Club members will display and demonstrate their “Lego-bots”.

Join the artists on Friday May 3, from 5-8pm, during the free Opening Reception at the Southern Shore Art Association Gallery and the monthly “First Friday” celebration in Michigan City’s historic Uptown Arts District.

Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
