Sonia Sharma, MD, now welcoming patients at Franciscan Physician Network Hammond Clinic

Sonia Sharma, MD, a board-certified physician in family medicine and obesity medicine, has moved her Franciscan Physician Network practice to the Hammond Clinic.

Dr. Sharma received her training at American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. She did her residency at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago and her fellowship in obesity medicine at American Board of Obesity Medicine in Denver.

Dr. Sharma’s clinical interests include obesity medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, fitness and nutrition, and management of chronic illnesses, such as hypertension, obesity and high cholesterol.
