Shining Light in the Darkness: Volunteer Opportunities in NWI

Given the fact that our team of Lifers thrive on the good news that is happening around the Region, it’s only natural that we also have a passion for trying to bring what positivity we can to hardships or negative situations around us.
It’s easy for us to love our home here in Northwest Indiana because of the wonderful community that it truly is, being made up of an endless array of intelligent, hardworking, and influential people from its cities and towns. However, just because we strive to bring out the best from our home to share with you all, doesn’t mean that we don’t notice the gaps in our community – in meals, in wallets, or in homes.
We recently asked our followers to let us know where those very gaps lie so we can shed some light on, not only all of the work that local organizations and people put in to fill the gaps, but also on the ways in which you personally can make a positive impact and difference in the Region.
