Roadie Run Registration Now Open!

Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and The City of Hammond Department of Parks & Recreation invite runners and walkers of all ages to compete in the Kathleen Pucalik Memorial 5K Roadie Run leading up to the 22nd Annual Festival of the Lakes. The run / walk starts and ends at The Wolf Lake Pavilion on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and the race begins at 8 a.m. Early registration is $25 on or before July 1st, and $40 from July 2nd until race day.
Additionally, this is a Calumet Striders Gold Cup Race , visit https://thedriven.net/cs/calstrider to learn more or join. A free 1-mile children’s race begins at 8:05 a.m. and children will receive a complimentary T-shirt while supplies last. Awards will be presented to the Overall Male and Female finishers; Overall Male and Female Masters finishers; Top 3 finishers in Athena (170 lbs.+) and Clydesdale (210 lbs.+) and Top 3 Male and Female finishers in each of the following age divisions. Age divisions are: 8 and under; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14; 15-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 and over.
