The Crown Point Fire Department is accepting applications for a firefighter-paramedic to fill an immediate vacancy. This emergency hiring process requires candidates that are already a licensed paramedic and certified firefighter. Applications close 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗙𝗲𝗯. 𝟭𝟰.

𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦

• Certified firefighter II
• Licensed paramedic
• 18-39 years of age (unless already in the ’77 fund)
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED
• Eligible for, or already enrolled in, the 1977 Police and Fire Retirement Fund

Candidates may be eligible for hiring preference with advanced certifications, CPAT, military service and current membership in the 1977 retirement fund.
