Northwest Medical Group Adds Board-Certified Cardiologist in La Porte

Northwest Health welcomes cardiologist Sabaa Ahmed, D.O., to La Porte. Dr. Ahmed is committed to helping patients improve their heart health through both treatment and prevention. She is accepting patients at the Northwest Medical Group – Cardiology office at 1331 State St., Suite 140, in La Porte.
As an experienced cardiologist, Dr. Ahmed is known for taking time to listen and involve her patients in decisions about their care, helping them feel supported and understood. She specializes in treating a variety of cardiac conditions, including atherosclerosis, cardiac arrhythmias, coronary and peripheral vascular disease, coronary artery disease, heart failure, heart valve disorders, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
Dr. Ahmed completed her medical education at Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and her residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. She completed her fellowship at Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Trenton, New Jersey.
