Nicholas Kobitka Sworn in as Valparaiso Police Officer

On Monday, August 17, 2015, Mayor Jon Costas swore Nicholas Kobitka, 29 years-old, to duty as a new Valparaiso Police Officer.
Officer Kobitka had previously been a police officer with the Michigan City Police Department (2 years). He holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and is a graduate of Hobart High School.
Officer Kobitka will begin his duties immediately. Congratulations Nick!
