Jump Rope for Heart is our annual Physical Education Fundraiser where students have an opportunity to raise money to help save lives! According to the American Heart Association, for every $50 raised, one life is saved! To motivate our students here at Myers Elementary our two Physical Education Teachers (Mrs. Sarah Smith and Mr. Ken Galik) have put up a contest between their classes. Whoever gets the most students to participate in raising money for Jump Rope for Heart will win! The loser will be receiving a pie (or two or three) in the face at one of our family gatherings. During the Jump Rope for Heart event students will participate in a variety of jump rope activities and contests to exercise their own hearts in honor of those they are trying to save.
