Myers Elementary 3rd Graders Receive New Webster’s Dictionaries

On Tuesday, November 12th, the Kiwanis Club of Portage visited Myers to present every third grader with a copy of the Webster’s Dictionary for Students. These new dictionaries will come in handy as the third graders prepare for new writing standards and practice their dictionary skills. The students also had the opportunity to meet and pet Barnabas, the trained K-9 Comfort Dog at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Portage. Kiwanis club visits Myers Elementary School every year to deliver the dictionaries to third grade students.
