La Porte Park & Recreation Department Announces the Return of 2016 Summer Playground Program

The La Porte Park and Recreation Department announced the return of the Summer Playground Program. This FREE program will be held Monday-Friday from June 6th – August 5th.

This program is a drop-in program that will have a ton of fun activities for local children throughout summer break located in five La Porte neighborhood parks. The program will run five days a week, two times a day at different parks.

Parent/Guardian waiver from must be signed before participation is allowed. This may be done the first time the child/children attend.

The staff will be present at the following parks and times:

• Koomler Park: Mondays – 9:00-11:30 a.m. and Wednesdays – 1:00-3:30 p.m.
• Allesee Park: Mondays – 1:00-3:30 p.m. and Thursdays – 9:00-11:30 a.m.
• Scott Field: Tuesdays – 9:00-11:30 a.m. and Thursdays – 1:00-3:30 p.m.
• Rumely Park: Tuesdays – 1:00-3:30 p.m. and Fridays – 9:00-11:30 a.m.
• Lindewald Park: Wednesdays – 9:00-11:30 a.m. and Fridays – 1:00-3:30 p.m.
