La Porte High School Winter Guard Wins Scholastic Open Class 2019

The La Porte High School Winter Color Guard won the Scholastic Open Class at their contest Sunday, March 17th. The contest was sponsored by the Midwest Color Guard Circuit and held at Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing, IL. Complete results of the Scholastic Open Class were as follows:
- La Porte – 82.5
- Naperville Central – 79.3
- Lake Central – 76.4
La Porte will travel to Cincinnati, OH, for the March 23 & 24 Winter Guard International Mid-East Power Regional Championships to be held in the Cintas Center at Xavier University. La Porte High School will host the Midwest Color Guard Circuit Championships on March 30 & 31.
