Klukken, Keller to be Inducted into IU Northwest RedHawk Hall of Fame

Indiana University Northwest Athletics has announced the induction of two distinguished former student-athletes into the RedHawk Hall of Fame. Angela Klukken, a standout in women’s cross country from 2014-17, and Juliette Keller, a decorated women’s basketball student-athlete from 2009-12, will be inducted as members of the 2026 Hall of Fame Class.
ANGELA KLUKKEN – WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY (2015-18)
Klukken made history during her RedHawk career as the first female cross-country student-athlete in program history to qualify for and compete at the NAIA National Championship, accomplishing the feat in 2018.
A consistent performer throughout her career, Klukken earned First Team All-Conference honors in the A.I.I. and placed fifth at the A.I.I. Championship meet. She was also recognized with the Champions of Character Award at the conference championship.
Klukken was named the RedHawks’ Most Valuable Player from 2016-18 and earned A.I.I. Runner of the Week honors twice. In 2017, she set the IU Northwest school record in the 4,000-meter race at the Elmhurst Early Bird Invitational.
JULIETTE KELLER – WOMEN’S BASKETBALL (2009-12)
Keller established herself as one of the most accomplished scorers and perimeter players in RedHawk women’s basketball history during her four-year career from 2009-12.
A four-time A.I.I. All-Conference selection and three-time Academic All-Conference honoree, Keller finished her career with 1,289 points, ranking among the top scorers in program history. She also became one of the most prolific three-point shooters in RedHawk history.
Keller ranks fourth in program history with 178 career three-point field goals and third with 71 three-point field goals made during a single season. Her 1,289 career points rank seventh in program history.
Keller was a cornerstone of one of the most successful eras in RedHawks women’s basketball history. During her four-year career, the program earned four consecutive postseason appearances and recorded three straight 20-win seasons. That remarkable run was highlighted by the first two conference championships and the first two NAIA National Tournament appearances in RedHawks Athletics history, achieved in back-to-back seasons (2009-10 and 2010-11). A consistent offensive force, Keller finished as the team’s second-leading scorer in each of her four seasons.
HALL OF FAME INDUCTION
“Angela and Juliette embody the competitive spirit, determination, and pride that define what it means to be a RedHawk,” said Ryan Shelton, Director of Athletics. “As trailblazers in their respective sports, they helped lay the foundation for the success of future generations of RedHawk student-athletes. We are incredibly grateful for their lasting contributions to IU Northwest Athletics and look forward to celebrating their well-deserved induction among the all-time greats in RedHawk history.”
The Hall of Fame Induction Brunch and Ceremony honoring Klukken and Keller will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, 2027, on the IU Northwest campus prior to the RedHawks’ women’s and men’s basketball home games. The brunch and induction ceremony are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. CST.
The 2027 ceremony will continue the tradition of honoring the student-athletes and supporters whose accomplishments have helped shape the history of RedHawk Athletics. With the permanent Hall of Fame exhibit located in the Savannah Center, Klukken and Keller will become part of a growing group of individuals and teams whose contributions are preserved and celebrated on the IU Northwest campus.
