Take advantage of our healthy heart scan. The scan measures the amount of calcium in the walls of your arteries and is appropriate for men 35 or older and women 40 or older with any one of the following risk factors:
• High Blood Pressure
• High Cholesterol
• Diabetes
• History of Tobacco Use
• Family History of Heart Disease
• Physical Inactivity
• Overweight or Obese
The Ultrasound Doppler screenings are non-invasive, painless, fast and accurate.
- Carotid Artery/Stroke Screenings – A leading cause of stroke is plaque buildup in the carotid arteries.
- AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) Screening – An abdominal aortic aneurysm is an abnormal bulging in a weakened portion of the aorta, and it is potentially life threatening.
- PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease) Screening – Peripheral Arterial Disease is caused by a decrease in blood flow to the legs. The risk of heart attack and stroke increases when PAD is present.
