Island of Blues offers an afternoon and evening of live music and entertainment in the heart of downtown Elkhart, giving residents and visitors a chance to enjoy local food, music, and community together at Island Park.
“Island of Blues is one of those events where you can come for the music and end up staying all afternoon,” said Liz Stoutenour, Event Coordinator for Elkhart Parks & Recreation. “With a great lineup, food, drinks, and the Coachmen Classic Cars show, there’s plenty to enjoy at Island Park.”
“Music has always been a big piece of Elkhart’s history, from the Lerner theatre, Conn Selmer, and the Elkhart Jazz Fest” said Mayor Rod Roberson. “Island of the Blues is another wonderful piece of that history and I am so excited for this year!”
Island of Blues is made possible through the generous support of sponsors, including WVPE Public Radio, Jayco, Waste-Away Group, and AEP.
