Horizon Bank Announces $5,000 Sponsorship for 20th Annual Hoosier Star

Horizon Bank is pleased to announce the $5,000 grant awarded to LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) to support the 20^th Annual Hoosier Star.

“Horizon has been supporting the Hoosier Star event since its inception. We are very excited to sponsor the 20-year anniversary and looking forward to being entertained by this year’s performers,” said Steve Kring, Regional President of Northwest Indiana.

This year’s event will take place on September 13, 2025, at the LaPorte Civic Auditorium. To celebrate the 20th anniversary, no auditions will be held, but instead they have invited the adult winners from the past nine Hoosier Star competitions to return to the stage and compete for the ultimate title: Hoosier Star of Stars!
