Goshen High School head baseball coach JJ Dubois has been named the 2026 Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA) District C Head Coach of the Year following a vote by fellow coaches during the district nomination meeting held Sunday in Mishawaka.
The recognition comes after an outstanding season for the Goshen RedHawks, who currently hold a 17-5 record and captured the 2026 Northern Lakes Conference championship.
Each year, baseball coaches from across Indiana gather to nominate players for the prestigious North/South All-Star Series while also recognizing exceptional leadership and contributions to high school baseball throughout the state. To participate in the process, coaches must be active IHSBCA members and attend the district meeting or send a representative on behalf of their program.
Dubois was selected by his peers in District C for the impact he has made leading the RedHawk baseball program this season. Under his leadership, Goshen has established itself as one of the top teams in northern Indiana, combining strong team culture, competitive play, and consistent success on the field.
In addition to earning District C Coach of the Year honors, Dubois also coached multiple student-athletes who received state-level recognition this season. Senior Braxton Cline was named District C Player of the Year, while both Cline and senior pitcher Ryen Diaz were nominated for possible selection to the 2026 North/South All-Star Series.
Goshen Community Schools congratulates Coach JJ Dubois on this well-deserved honor and thanks him for his continued leadership and dedication to Goshen baseball and RedHawk student-athletes.
