Franciscan Health Munster to host Cancer Survivors Day event

Franciscan Health Munster is hosting a free ice cream social open house for cancer survivors on June 7 in recognition of Cancer Survivors Day.
In addition to celebrating cancer survivors, the event will feature information on cancer support groups, the free eight-week virtual Moving Beyond Cancer survivorship program and other resources for cancer survivors. All attendees will also receive a free gift and ice cream.
The event is scheduled to take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Central on Sunday, June 7 in the St. Clare conference room and lobby at the Franciscan Health Cancer Center Munster’s Medical Arts Center, 701 Superior Ave. in Munster.
Each cancer survivor attending may bring one guest.
