Franciscan Health Michigan City hosting free AFib educational event

Franciscan Health Michigan City is hosting a free educational event aimed at helping patients and their families better understand atrial fibrillation (AFib).

The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 12 to 1 p.m. Central in the Maria Theresia Bonzel Conference Room at Franciscan Health Michigan City, 3500 Franciscan Way.

Franciscan Physician Network Interventional Cardiologist Naseer Nasser, MD, will share information on common signs and symptoms of AFib, risk factors and the benefits of wearable devices.

Lunch will be served.

The event is free, but pre-registration is required. Registration is available online.
