Franciscan Health hosting Senior Day at Lake Co. Fair

Franciscan Health is again hosting the free Senior Day at the Lake County Fair for seniors 62 and older.
Free health screenings and information on a variety of Franciscan Health programs and senior services will be available. Scheduled screenings include skin cancer spot checks, fall risk assessments, blood pressure, pulse ox, glucose, spirometry (lung function) and more.
Representatives and information from Franciscan Physician Network oncology services, stroke, chest pain, hospice, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), trauma services, Senior Promise, Volunteer Advocates for Seniors and Incapacitated Adults (VASIA), EMS services and more will be available.
Snacks, healthcare materials and giveaways are also included as well as a free shuttle service to and from the tent and around the fairgrounds.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Central on Monday, Aug. 10 at the Lake County Fairgrounds’ Showcase Tent at the west end of the Midway near Gate 5 at 889 S. Court St. in Crown Point.
