Elkhart County Area Guide snags a statewide award

It feels great to be a winner in Elkhart County.
The 2025 Elkhart County Area Guide, created and distributed by the Elkhart County CVB, won the Best Visitor Guide award in the state at the recent Indiana Tourism Conference awards dinner.
“I’m overjoyed that the Elkhart County CVB’s team was recognized for this honor. But the biggest winners of all were the 160-plus locally owned businesses, the Elkhart County cities and towns along with Shipshewana, and the plethora of local festivals and events that were featured in the guide,” said Jon Hunsberger, executive director of the Elkhart County CVB.
About 150,000 copies of the Elkhart County Area Guide are distributed across the Midwest to residents and visitors interested in exploring the distinctive businesses, artisans and attractions here.
While it’s the ninth Indiana Tourism Award that the Elkhart County CVB has claimed in the last 10 years, it sure isn’t getting old. We’re working on even more award-winning work that will highlight the best of Elkhart County!
