Currie Motors Ford of Valpo’s mobile service brings expert maintenance to your driveway

Ford Mobile Service is a program that is offered by some of its participating dealers. Roger Galvan, Service Manager at Currie Motors Ford of Valpo, notes that there is an abundance of problems that their technicians can address through the mobile service.

“We have plenty of maintenance services available with this program, such as oil and filter changing, batteries, brake services, fluids, and tire rotation,” Galvan explained. “We’re trying to make the service experience as easy as possible for our customers.”

Scheduling an appointment for a mobile service can be done over the phone, in person, or through the FordPass app. By utilizing the app, you can monitor vehicle details and earn points that can be redeemed for rewards on all of your service and maintenance, including the mobile service.

“It helps out the customers because they don’t have to run around between bringing the vehicle over to our dealership and waiting for us to service it before they can leave,” Galvan emphasized. “Making appointments with the dealership is something that’s a necessity. Everyone needs their car to come into the dealership every now and then, so this is one way that we can make it a little more pleasant for the people who don’t want to sit around as we finish up.”

While this program was implemented shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic, the technicians at Currie Motors are comfortable with handling anything that gets thrown their way.

“The great part about our technicians is that they can perform a lot of the same expert services that we do in the dealership for our customers remotely,” Galvan said passionately. “We have a lot of team members who have years of experience handling these services, so they know what to expect and how to take care of each customer.”
