Crown Point to Host Family Friendly Halloween Events

The City of Crown Point is closing out October with a variety of fun, family friendly events.

Pumpkin Walk 

Trick or treat around the square at local businesses in downtown Crown Point. Participating businesses will have a Pumpkin Walk flyer in the window. For a list of participating businesses, please visit the City of Crown Point Facebook page, @CityofCrownPointIN, closer to the event date. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. 

Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Date: Saturday, Oct. 25 

Place: Downtown Crown Point 

Cost: Free

CPPD Trunk or Treat 

Trunk or treat with the Crown Point Police Department! Visit Legacy Fields at Center Ross Park for trick-or-treating with the Crown Point Police Department. Crown Point officers and local agencies will have their cars decorated with lots of candy and swag. Costumes encouraged! Time: 1-3 p.m. 

Date: Sunday, Oct. 26 

Place: Legacy Fields at Center Ross Park, 851 Center Ross Road 

Cost: Free

Trick-or-Treating 

Trick-or-treating will be held rain or shine on Halloween. Participating homes should turn on a porch light to welcome trick-or-treaters. 

Time: 5-8 p.m. 

Date: Friday, Oct. 31 

Place: Around Crown Point 

Cost: Free
