Around 7:45 p.m., the winners of the softball game will take to Field 1 for a foam party. Gates for the foam party will open immediately following the winning team’s celebration, around 8 p.m. The evening will close out with a drone show by Chicago Drone Light Shows.

The event will feature free Kona Ice for the first 300 attendees and hot dogs grilled by Crown Point Emergency Management; live music provided by Tom Lounges; booths from Crown Point public safety departments, the City of Crown Point, Chick-fil-A, the Crown Point Library, the Crown Point Community School Corp., Franciscan, Lake County 911, Lake County FOP Auxiliary 125, the Lake County Solid Waste Management District, MADD Indiana, Starbucks, Veterans Affairs Police Department and the World Wiffle Ball Championship; swag giveaways; and public safety vehicles. Fun Times Cotton Candy will be available for purchase.

“National Night Out allows our officers to spend time with the residents they protect every day. We’re lucky to have such strong community support for our officers. This event is our way to say thank you to everyone who supports us year-round,” Crown Point Police Chief Ryan S. Patrick said. “Our officers are looking forward to bringing home the NNO win for the third year.”

Patrick added the department is grateful for its sponsors, including Centier Bank, Costco, Dutch Farms, Eotech, LaToya Cosey with @properties, Strack & Van Til and the World Wiffle® Ball Championship. To become a 2025 National Night Out sponsor, visit crownpoint.info/nno2025.

“We’re fortunate to live in one of the safest cities in Indiana. This year, Crown Point ranked as the No. 8 safest city in the Hoosier State,” Crown Point Mayor Pete Land said. “When people choose to move to a community, they look for great schools and public safety. I am proud to say we have both in Crown Point. National Night Out allows our officers to connect with the community members they protect and serve daily.”
