Student Ambassadors gain leadership skills

Nearly 100 middle school students from more than 20 Big Shoulders Fund schools gathered for Student Ambassador training, where they honed their leadership and public speaking skills. 

These ambassadors will help lead tours for prospective students, answer questions from interested parents, and attend other outreach events, all with the goal of giving community members a warm welcome to their school. 

St. Catherine-St. Lucy School hosted the event, where students workshopped how to answer parent questions, how to speak with confidence, and how to paint a compelling picture of their school and what makes it a special place.
