About

As an organization that is constantly working to drive economic activity in the La Porte community and aiding in its development, La Porte Economic Advancement Partnership (LEAP) brings together the business community of The City of La Porte.

Challenges

Bringing people and projects together involves sharing what LEAP is doing in the La Porte community and the opportunities available to those investing in the future of La Porte. While LEAP does get coverage from mainstream media on some of its development work in La Porte, mainstream media only covers its biggest developments.

In addition to leaving out many smaller developments LEAP would like to highlight, the coverage they do receive often has a negative slant and does not tell the full story. There are countless people and organizations involved in every success, and they are a significant part of the message LEAP needs to share.

Solutions

Through GreatNews.Life, LEAP has a true partnership when it is sharing with its community. GreatNews.Life does a variety of coverage on LEAP’s behalf–it even covers the smaller developments.

“I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with GreatNews.Life for many years now. Chris Mahlmann and his entire team are tremendous individuals who care about the communities that they operate in,” said LEAP Executive Director, Bert Cook.

As an all-positive media company, GreatNews.Life gives a voice to all the good that LEAP is doing in La Porte, which creates new openings for even more good to follow.

With event coverage, photography, videography, editorial, and social media services, GreatNews.Life ensures that all LEAP’s stories are comprehensive, accurate, and positive.

“There’s great advertising and marketing that occurs, but it’s also just a place to find the great news and all of the happenings that are going on across the Northwest Indiana area,” Cook said. “In this day and age, it’s difficult to find people who only talk about the good, but that’s absolutely what GreatNews.Life does. It makes my day better being able to browse this sort of media, and I really love everything GreatNews.Life stands for.”

LEAP also has access to GreatNews.Life’s audience, so its stories can be shared on websites like LaPorteCounty.Life as well as GreatNews.Life’s social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, and more. It can also share the stories GreatNews.Life creates on its own website, social media, and other marketing outlets.

“I am constantly amazed at the number of people this organization touches and their amazing responsiveness,” Cook said. “This means our information reaches our targets more often and more rapidly than other media.”
