Partnership with Greencroft Communities Strengthens Health Sciences Program at GHS

Goshen Community Schools (GCS) is proud to announce a new 5-year partnership with  Greencroft Communities. As part of this agreement, the district’s Health Sciences flightpath will be known as  the Greencroft Academy of Health Sciences, reflecting a strengthened collaboration focused on preparing  students for careers in healthcare.

This partnership builds on Greencroft’s ongoing support of the Health Sciences – Certified Nursing Assistant  (CNA) program and reflects a deeper, long-term commitment to developing a strong local healthcare  workforce across Goshen, Elkhart County, and Northern Indiana. The program is delivered in partnership with  Legacy Medical Academy, which supports instruction, curriculum development, and implementation of the  health sciences pathway.

Through this expanded partnership, students will benefit from enhanced hands-on learning opportunities,  career exploration, and real-world experiences that help prepare them for in-demand healthcare careers.

“At Greencroft, we believe caring for older adults begins with investing in the people called to serve them,”  said Hugh Davis, CEO of Greencroft Communities. “We are excited to help expand opportunities for students  in the CNA program and inspire the next generation of caregivers, whose compassion and dedication will  shape the future of healthcare in our region.”

“Strong communities are built through strong partnerships, and we are honored to support Goshen  Community Schools as they prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals,” Davis added. “These  students represent the future of compassionate care, and we believe investing in their hands-on training today  will benefit our entire region for years to come.”

“This partnership represents a significant step forward for our Health Sciences programming,” said Jon  Everingham, Director of Career & Technical Education at Goshen Community Schools. “By working closely  with Greencroft, we are able to provide students with meaningful experiences that connect classroom learning  to real career pathways in healthcare.”

Goshen Community Schools extends its sincere appreciation to Greencroft Communities for its leadership,  generosity, and continued commitment to students and the future of healthcare in our region.
