Goshen Community Schools (GCS) is grateful to announce an initial gift from the Greencroft

Goshen Community Schools (GCS) is grateful to announce an initial gift from the Greencroft  Communities Foundation in support of the Health Sciences – Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class within  Goshen High School’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) program. 

The generous investment will be used to purchase new equipment and instructional materials, strengthening  hands-on learning experiences for students preparing for careers in healthcare. The gift reflects the continued  partnership between Greencroft Goshen and Goshen Community Schools, working together to develop the  next generation of caregivers for the community. 

“It’s so important to invest in the next generation of CNAs and nurses, and we are honored to help students  experience the meaningful difference they can make in the lives of older adults,” said Hugh Davis, CEO of  Greencroft Communities. “This partnership is an investment in the future of healthcare in Goshen and Elkhart  County, and one way we live out our responsibility to the people and communities we serve.” 

GCS’s Health Sciences CNA pathway provides students with real-world training and career-ready skills while  still in high school, helping address workforce needs in the local healthcare industry. 

“This support allows us to enhance the learning environment for our students and ensure they are gaining the  practical skills and experiences needed to succeed in healthcare careers,” said Jon Everingham, Director of  Career & Technical Education for Goshen Community Schools. “Partnerships at this monetary level are critical  as we work to prepare students for in-demand professions that directly impact our community.”
